We feature canine sculptures designed by artist Denis Springer, who passed away in 2003. The limited edition bronze will continue to be cast until the editions are sold out - other bronze and all pewter will be available for the foreseeable future.

The pieces range from life-size limited edition bronze statues

to pewter pins and tie-tacs.

Our bronze and pewter walking sticks,

bronze doorknockers,

and pewter candlesticks are popular items.

Better yet, browse the whole site and enjoy our art gallery - then tell your friends what we have in their breed. We are still adding and upgrading pictures and reorganizing pages to speed up download time.

Please note that all our bronze and pewter sculptures are cast in the U.S.A. Our Pewter items are lead-free pewter and our Bronze is true bronze, cast in the traditional hot-cast (lost-wax) method, not cold-cast "bronze," which is really a resin mix.

Originals By Springer has been in business since 1990 . Still going strong, it has always been owned and managed by Judy Keller. We had great success at our booth at selected dog shows since that time, though stopped travelling after 2005. Much business has come from personal referrals and word-of-mouth advertising.
