This is a fairly large piece - the sculpture is close to 12 inches tall over all and is mounted on a 6" x 8" base.
The Smooth Fox Terrier is barking at a racoon and other creatures. The dog and tree trunk are antique pewter with the leaves finished in shiny silver, with a translucent green color wash, or with "fall colors, as shown on the right. Designed by Denis Springer in collaboration with artist Ben Cordsen of Fort Collins, Colorado. Sorry, but I'll have to start charging $30 to ship this item. That's been my UPS charge for the two sold since rates went up and doesn't even cover the expense of the boxes and packing materials involved. |

Please note that all our bronze and pewter sculptures are cast in the U.S.A. Our Pewter items are lead-free pewter and our Bronze is true bronze, cast in the traditional hot-cast (lost-wax) method - not cold-cast "bronze," which is really a resin mixture.
